Board Member- Eric Giordano currently serves as the Director of the Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service (WIPPS) , a position he has held since the organization’s founding in 2007. WIPPS is a component of the UW Colleges and UW Extension. He also holds a position as Associate Professor of Political Science in the University of Wisconsin Colleges. At WIPPS, Eric works with university and community partners to identify and address key policy issues; conducts survey and focus group research and analysis; strategic and action planning, coalition building, dialogue and deliberation training and facilitation; and grant writing and implementation. Eric is a frequent public speaker on issues of public policy, citizen dialogue, healthy democratic practice, and community problem-solving. He is currently researching the impact of dialogue and deliberation on cognitive frameworks linked to partisan orientation. Eric received his Ph.D. in 2004 from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
